Description:	Documents a controversy between Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, who claimed to be the second advent of the Messiah, and John Alexander Dowie, who claimed to be sent as Elijah the Restorer. Ahmad challenged Dowie to a prayer duel in which both contenders would pray to God that the imposter would perish. The coverage of this controversy in over 30 newspapers is spread over a span of 5 years, 1902-1907, the year of Dowie's death. Contents: Chapter 1: An excerpt of the writings of Hazrat Ahmad, The Reality of Revelation, which presents the outcome of the prayer duel in the words of Hazrat Ahmad. -- Chapter 2: An article sent by Hazrat Ahmad to U.S. newspapers and published in 1907 in The Review of Religions. -- Chapter 3: A brief life sketch of John Alexander Dowie, his claims, and his character as depicted from his writings. -- Chapter 4: A brief life sketch of Hazmat Ahmad and his accomplishments. This chapter also presents clippings from the newspapers covering the prayer duel, Dowie's response, Dowie's rise and fall, and editorials written by the papers regarding the victory of Hazrat Ahmad in the duel. -- Chapter 5: A brief presentation of the status of the Ahmadiyya Movement founded by Hazrat Ahmad in 1889, and its relentless march to its divinely destined goal of Islamic supremacy over all faiths.
